In the Nude

From the pages of the style magazines, it's obvious that metallics are still playing a major role in fashion. From gold, silver and bronze to the newest shimmering hue: NUDE. The glittering shade is a softer, more neutral golden tone that can bring out the healthy glow of any skin color.

Jennifer Anniston, Emily Blunt and Gwyneth Paltrow were all spotted in nude gowns this seasons.

Try mixing this new shade with other metallics. Our goldtone Faith bulb below is hand silk-screened with soft copper and blue metallic, accented with silver glitter, and tied with nude glitter ribbon.

A Night at the Oscars

The stars made a statement at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards this past weekend by stepping out in stand-out colors and unique gown shapes says USA Today. From bold solids and patterned dresses to frilly pastels and glittering metallics, the formal wear came in every cut and hue.

Vera Farmiga of Up in the Air wore a bright fuscia Marchesa gown that she says, "Reminded me of a peony in bloom." Rachel McAdams opted for a pastel Elie Saab gown with a romantic watercolor feel. Sandra Bullock, winner of the Best Actress award for The Blind Side, glittered along with the Swarovski crystal curtain in her form-fitting metallic Marchesa gown.

Kathryn Bigelow made a splash as well, but not because of her formal wear. She is the first woman to ever win the award for Best Director for her work on, The Hurt Locker.

Decorate like a star with our pewter crosses that incorporate all of the hot themes from the Oscars: pastels, sparkling Swarovski crystals, and bold hues.
