Pantone has released their new Color of the Year 2014, Radiant Orchid! 2014's Color of the Year sparks enchantment with its rich pink and purple hues found in nature. Every year, we like to express the color inspiration from Pantone's Color of the Year in our ornament design, as well as our trend book. From the start of the new year until spring time, it's crunch time for creating and conceptualizing our trends and ornaments to conspire with them. Radiant Orchid will be conveyed in the color, mood, and personality of our ornaments throughout the year.

Academy Awards - Movie Nominations

Every year when the Academy Awards come around, it’s quite a big hit among everyone. Whether you’re young and you look up to some of these celebrities or your parents remember when they were child stars, it’s a special and exciting time for all. It turns into a lot of talk, anticipation, and glamour. Big hit films are under the spotlight and their cast, producers, and fans are eager for the vote.

This March, Ellen DeGeneres will be returning as host to the 86^th Academy Awards. Nominees for such categories like Best Picture, Best Animated Feature, and Best Costume Design remind us of some of our special ornaments that we’ve designed here at Gloria Duchin Inc.
