As we all know, last years Boston Marathon was a sure test of strength for not only the city of Boston, but the people of Boston, and all surrounding towns. We showed true spirit, honor, and courage as we stood tall and strong, and came together as one. Today is Marathon Monday and today will be a true celebration of Boston's unity, a time of peace, love, and hope. While last year marked a tough time in this nation's history, we will now look at Marathon Monday in a different light. At the beginning of every Spring season, Swarovski, a loyal partner of Gloria Duchin Inc., comes out with a new set of genuine crystals. These fashion forward crystals are always fun to look at while we begin to design new product, as we love to incorporate crystal elements in many of our jewelry pieces and ornaments.

Swarovski is a leading trendsetting company with innovations reaching from jewelry and fashion to home decor and industrial development. At Gloria Duchin, we look to Swarovski for inspiration during the spring and summer seasons as we start developing the concepts for our trend inspiration book.

The new crystal beads for Spring/Summer 2015 capture the sunlight with their monochromatic edges, resembling a fierce and edgy tone, naming this seasons overall trend "Traces of Time." The new crystal skull bead comes in many striking colors, clear, monochrome, rose gold, and a dark metallic silver, just to name a few. Welcome April! As we transition into the beginning stages of our Autumn/Winter 2014/15 Trend Inspiration Book, here at Gloria Duchin Inc., we like to first touch on the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons ahead through the eyes of talented trend forecasters such as Pecler Paris, Swarovski, and Pantone.

Fashion icons like Rihanna and Kate Moss and runway models set the bars high with their striking high-fashion looks by famous designers like Versace and Coco Chanel. Through extensive research and style advice from the best of the best, we are able to determine and develop a set of trends in fashion and home decor. After finalizing each of these fashion forward trends, we use this information to then guide us in the future seasons with our new product designs, from color to style to theme.
