Each year, the team at Gloria Duchin compiles a Trend Intelligence guide based on color stories, textures, materials, and moods that we see as being popular in fashion and home decor. These trend often trickle down into holiday decor, and we use them as a guideline in creating new product.
We will be giving you an exclusive look at our Trend Intelligence guide throughout the next few weeks. Our next trend is Jazz:
The decadent glamour of the roaring twenties paired with the
dark defiance of the speakeasy. Jewel tones like deep purple and emerald green,
dance cheek to cheek with dusty rose, brown and gray. Dresses are slim fit and
daring, expressing themselves through bold patterns or sparkling sequins. Art
deco patterns emerge on both clothing and gemstone earrings.
At home, a tufted chaise is the perfect place to curl up
with a martini and listen to records. A mirrored chandelier hangs over the
entrance into a dimly lit lounge with secluded tables for two. Stained glass
lamps pair with animal print accessories, for a decorating scheme that’s both
romantic and wild.
Stay tuned for our last trend: Punk
