Bo Knows

Although the First Puppy will be officially introduced tomorrow, the news of the new addition to the White House has already been leaked. Senator Ted Kennedy presented "Bo", a portugese water dog to the Obama girls yesterday, and apparently he is a hit with the whole family.

Animal organizations are already predicting a surge in popularity for the curly haired pups, but before you start the hunt for one of your own, you can learn more about the breed on Petfinder.org and look for rescue dogs while you're there.

The Obama family will be busy outfitting the White House with the necessary toys, beds and aceessories for Bo. Some of my favorite pet places to shop are GWlittle.com and FetchDog.com, where you can get everything from personalized pet beds to 14K gold dog tags.
