Modern Goddesses

The Wall Street Journal style section featured an article this past Sunday on the re-emergence of Grecian style gowns appearing in droves on the fashion runways and red carpet events. Designers such as Donna Karan and Monique Lhuillier presented their modern version of the toga during New York Fashion Week last month, the dresses characterized by draped or pleated fabric and ruching.

The popularity of Grecian gowns are due to their ability to flatter almost any body style and their comfortable femininity which is why celebrities like Hilary Swank have chosen to wear them for their premiere events.

Our latest collection of angel ornaments, the Angels of Inspiration, are crafted in similar gowns, with flowing bottoms and bunched sleeves. To find a retailer, please visit our website.
